As part of the Volume program, Australian composer Madeleine Cocolas has collaborated with Defender to present Towards ethereality, a moving 20-minute audio experience played through the Meridian™ sound system inside the Defender Electric Hybrid.

The composition’s expanded ambience lulls listeners across a deep and wide tonal spectrum. Sub-bass and subtle organic sounds rise and fall, shifting between complete maximalism and austere minimalism. When you arrive at the final pensive piano lines, the work opens out, revealing beauty and weight before stripping back to a dreamlike landscape.
