Experience electric connections with art and music as Volume takes over the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ Tank space for eight unforgettable nights this July. Four visionary artists will transform the cavernous underground space, igniting the atmosphere with warmth, energy and sound in the depth of Sydney’s winter. 

Celebrating musical trailblazers who defy conventions, this series showcases genre shapeshifters through ecstatic experimentation and live performances. From avant-garde jazz explorations to trap-beat driven noise, post-punk to R’n’B and subtle melancholia, each night promises a journey through musical landscapes, with a physicality and exploration of space that will make you think, feel and move.
