WIN TICKETS TO VOLUME 2024 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Participants may enter by completing the online entry form for one or more of the selected artists. It is a condition of entry that entrants elect to receive Volume™ and Art Gallery of New South Wales updates from the Promoter. Eligible participants will be required to provide their name, age and contact details, along with their preference of artist to complete their entry. Illegible, incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible. Eligible entrants will go into a draw to win tickets to their preferred artist.

2. The Promoter is the Art Gallery of New South Wales, ABN 24 934 492 575, Art Gallery Rd, The Domain NSW 2000, ph. (02) 9225 1700.

3. Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia over 18 years of age. Limit one entry per person, per draw. Duplicate entries within a draw will be ineligible. Entry is free. Each eligible entry in a draw has an equal chance of winning.

4. Employees and their immediate families of The Art Gallery of New South Wales and their agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter the competition.

5. The promotion opens at 5pm AEST on Friday 28 June 2024 and ends on the specific closing dates for the individual draws in the table below. There will be four separate draws.

6. There are four (4) prizes to be won and a separate draw for each prize will be conducted. Eligible entrants will go into the particular draw to win tickets to the artist nominated. The total Prize Pool is $800. For each draw, there is one prize which is one double pass to attend the relevant performance at Volume 2024:

7. The draw for the winners of each respective draw will take place at the Art Gallery of New South Wales at the following times:

The Promoter will contact the winner via phone and email within 1-hour of the Prize draw. The winner must accept the Prize within 24-hours of the Prize draw. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted within that time, or is ineligible to be a winner, an alternate winner will be drawn at 11am AEST the following day from the remaining eligible entries for that particular draw and that person drawn will be the winner. The Prize must be collected on the evening of the performance from the Welcome Hub at Naala Badu (our north building), by presenting photographic identification confirming the identity of the Prize winner. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.

8. The Prize cannot be transferred. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. If the Winner is unable to attend, or unable to substantiate their identity to the Promoter’s satisfaction, the Prize will be forfeit and no replacement value will be provided in lieu.

9. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

10. It is a condition of entry that the winner agrees to the publication of their name and state on the website (www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au) which will occur within two (2) days of the Prize draw.

11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the competition or vary the terms, where, for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter is unable to provide the prizes as offered (for example, due to Covid-19 government health orders impacting performances).

13. The Promoter collects personal information (‘PI’) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle personal data collected from entrants (‘PI’) as set out in its applicable privacy statement, which can be viewed at www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/privacy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s privacy statement, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Aggregated, non-personal data may also be used for the purpose of market research or in facilitating reviews, developments and improvements to relevant services. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter.

14. Only where Entrants elect to receive communications, from Jaguar Land Rover Australia (JLRA) and its related entities, will the Promoter provide your PI to them. Further information about how JLRA handle your personal information is contained in the JLRA Privacy Policy. It contains information about how the Entrant can request access to and seek the correction of personal information JLRA hold about the Entrant and how the Entrant can make a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how JLRA will deal with such a complaint. The Entrant’s data will be used by JLRA and may be passed to its group and affiliated companies, associates, agents, dealers, sub-contractors and licensees to advise the Entrant of products, services and special promotions undertaken by these organisations on behalf of JLRA. The Entrant can opt-out of receiving such direct marketing by the method set out in JLRA’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter takes no responsibility for the practices of third parties.

15. The promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of New South Wales. The parties accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of NSW in connection with disputes concerning this Promotion.

16. The decision of the Promoter in relation to any aspect of this Promotion is binding and final and no correspondence will be entered into.
